The festive season is almost here, and Greystones Town Team is delighted to announce that Christmas in Greystones 2026 will take place on Saturday, 21st November, from 4.30pm to 7pm.
Santa will make his festive tour through the town and arrive in Burnaby Park, where entertainment starts from 4.30pm. The evening ends with the magical moment when Santa switches on the town's Christmas Lights. It promises to be a joyful celebration for families and a wonderful showcase for our fantastic local businesses.
Turning on the lights some five weeks before Christmas is deliberate. It marks the start of the most important trading period of the year, with the town lit up, full of festive spirit and ready to welcome shoppers and visitors.
This year, there is even more to look forward to, with exciting new Christmas light displays, including festive reindeer. These new features will add warmth and wonder to the season, creating memorable moments for families, encouraging people to come out, linger and enjoy everything the town has to offer, and helping make Greystones a true festive destination.
Running alongside the celebrations, our Shop Local, Love Local campaign is back, with brand-new artwork by local artist Gavin Beattie. The campaign will celebrate the shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and businesses that make Greystones so special, through billboards, window stickers, social media and PR, and on Greystones.ie.
